Sunday 29th June
It was such a surprise to see rain this morning when we left the hotel for the 6 minute walk to the airport. I think it has only rained twice since we've left England and then not for long.
We made it! It has taken 6 weeks but nothing went terribly wrong but we've had a few adventures and met some amazing people, some old friends and some fellow travellers. Being home is wonderful. We have seen so many cities, it is lovely just to be back with the countryside and friends and family around us.
We only lost a hat and a pair of socks.
Neil made a map for our grandchildren to follow our journey by putting pins in the destinations. It was lovely to get regular updates.
